I didn't have snakes until my husband got hooked on them. (parents hate them...and it took me a long time to warm up to them) so I will post a few of my non-scaled pets.
"Lumpy"-cat...he got his name because when he was a kitten he didn't react well to his shots.
"LWA" (little white a.....)-long white haired cat-my buddy, but a foul animal.
"Rikku"-white and tan rat. Named for yet another FF character.
"Sniffy"-albino rat. Named by my step daughter, when we got our ratties (long long ago) I was taking a psych class where I had to 'teach' Sniffy the Rat certain behaviors (computer program) and Sniffy stuck.
The new little guy...(he has his own thread started by Presspirate) is Heretic at the moment (and I am sure that will stick) because of my fascination with Ancient Egypt. I recently went to see the King Tut exhibit and they had a large bust of Akhenaten there and....that is too much of a name for a little guy like that...so, he got Heretic (Heretic King). If I ever get an Emerald Boa...it will be named Akhenaten....
