New to the forum, old friend to snakes

I just found this place today and I'm so excited! I live in arizona and few people here seem to share my love for rattlesnakes. I have 3 western diamondbacks, 2 mojaves, a blacktail, and two babies, one a sidewinder, the other an arizona black. I also have a kingsnake and several invertebrates.
After the local fire departments stopped taking rattlesnake calls, I decided to go into business doing removal and relocation, but I keep the really beautiful ones for k-9 snake aversion training, and eventually let them go once I no longer have the heart to keep them from their homes.
Any other rattlesnake fanatics out there?

Hello and welcome to the forum. Nice too see another hot's keeper on here. I would love to own rattlers but they are illegal here, so i will just get extremely jealous when you start uploading pics haha.

I don't own any rattlesnakes, but I'm certainly fasinated by them, and I even caught a few with my dad when I was younger and we'd go hiking/ camping together. d I've found myself really enjoying some of the pictures I've found on here by people who do care for them.
That's great that you do local r&r.

Nice to have that, rather than people running around with shovels and chopping snake heads off. (Which doesn't sound like the smartest thing...I've heard of poeople still getting bit by decapitated snakes. o.o)
At work I'm in charge of keeping the snakes off the property grass and away from the dogs. :P Nothing serious like you do but it's still nice getting to move a gater snake from th aweful fate of a shovel. :P

I agree with Mary, its nice to see someone removing them rather then chopping off heads! the first thing people ask me when they find out im a reptile keeper is "I found this snake in my yard, I killed it because I thought it was poisonous, it looked like _____." "um well most snakes aren't poisonous and now that your killing off the snake population in your yard, your house will be over run by rats and eventually burn to the ground from exposed electrical wires! Have a nice day!!"

As far as keeping them thats brave!! Ive been bit a few times by my boas and I always think damn thank god your not a hot lol

There is only one "poisonous" snake, the garter snake!!

Quite a few venomous ones tho..............

It's definitely some variety of crotaline (note the loreal pits just below the eyes). If it's a rattlesnake I'd have to guess it's an Eastern Diamondback given how large the head seems to be. I can't believe those f***ing a**holes are taping that. UGH.
