Profile: Galahad

Continuing my weekly updates, today I’ll profile Galahad. Galahad is an August 2009 male who was of the two top male picks from a strong breeding trio -- in fact, he was originally a breeder holdback, but became available at the very end of that season. He is one of a total of four males that Living Gems acquired that year, only two of which we expect to keep in the end. As of month end December, Galahad had just crested 500 grams, and is almost large enough to jump to small rats.

Here was Galahad as he looked just after first shed:

And here is as of October 2010, at 14 months old:

Thank you for looking,

Re: Profile: Galahad

Thanks Ch^4. To be fully honest, though, Galahad is not what I could classify as a "true" bullseye animal. While many breeders might sell him as such, he only has a few fully closed circles. If you look closely, most of the others are just very strong, exaggerated crescents that come close to touching at the bottom. He'd work paired with a bullseye female to support that pattern, but could probably not carry it on his own.

Thanks to you too, 2006gt!
