Lol! i find mythology and religion interesting though! actually i tutor a guy from Saudi Arabia and he was shocked that I possess and have read the Qur'an lol i find it very interesting and believe Islam in general is a more believable religion then christianity (not to step on toes here, just my opinion). and I cant say i blame the guy with the amount of racism hes dealt with in 9 months of being here. we USED to have a very ignorant woman as another tenant in the apartments we both rent who called him a terrorist! its sad how people treat one another completely blew me away, hes probably one of the nicest and polite people i have ever met lol

Re: What are you reading?
I find all of the mythology and religion fascinating.
The old text book of Mormon has some really interesting concepts in it.
I will not go down this road for fear of offending someone.
I'm just saying it's interesting, nothing else.

I think i'm going to the RCMP after i finish college, the P.A.R.E. test is much easier in my opinion then the P.R.E.P. for the OPP and Ontario based departments, my other option besides the RCMP, OPP, or any municipal police forces would be a Canadian Forces Police officer, and because I have Police foundations i would be promoted to corporal right out of basic training which isnt bad lol

Re: What are you reading?
ya i just recently applied for the canadian forces and just spoke to my recruiter about 2 weeks ago, they are not hiring for almost anything at the moment, i joined for infantry, armoured soldier, weapons technition, after that we went down a list of about 10 other things and nothing,i then asked what they are hiring for and it was 2 things vehicle tech and communication tech. so i applied for the rcmp.i will be working my way for a possition on the swat team is my goal. army said their is nothing hiring right now because we will be pulling out in under a year and all the combat arms troops will need positions else where. It took my cousin over a year to get back into the navy after his contract ended as an already trained 4th year marine technition.
on a good note maybe ill see you in regina sask rcmp camp, only 1 in canada and every member of the rcmp goes their for 6 month training, Hooo AH!

Re: What are you reading?
Beside college textbooks? Lets see....anything by Richard Marcinko (Rogue Warrior), Dr. Laurence Gardner, Zecharia Sitchin, Dean Koontz, Robin Cook, Tom Clancy. American Bagger magazine, Bass Player magazine, Iron Horse magazine, anything concerning ancient history, religion, politics, philosophy, etc., etc., etc.! These days, though, its mostly college textbooks and more college textbooks!

That book will never come out . I read the entire series, then reread everything up to crows when that came out, now I have everything shelved until the hbo series is finished. I think he'll start working on Dances with Dragons after that is done.
Currently I am re reading Insomnia, by Stephen King. My Favorite Author has to be Nelson Demille. But I also enjoy anything by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, Scott Sigler, Dean Koontz, King, etc. etc. etc.
