thats crazy! 100 miles! i really do feel sorry for you guys but im sure you all have begun to get sick of that routine, i congratulate you on your outlook though, ive often wondered about the things that would be impossible if i were injured in some sort of accident that i never saw coming, a member of my rugby club a few years back died on the pitch from a heart related illness that he didnt know of and that scared me a little... its crazy how something that seems so harmless can be coupled in some way, shape, or form into something life-changing or destroying.
Cheers on the attitudes though, dunno how id be if i were in that situation, im sure id be a little nasty to say the least but like everyone said, you gotta look at the glass half full! Hopefully it gets even a little better guys!

There is no way to imagine what it is like without experienceing it and i wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. All i can say is that when you have no choice but get on with things you just learn to do what you can and live with the fact that you cant do everythign you used to.
Concentrate on the good and dont dwell on the bad and things look pretty good.

I think the worse thing can be a feeling of uselessness (not able to earn money for the household and relying on others for help) but the best way around this i have found is to help others when ever possible.
We have recently decided to take on animals that need to be rehomed due to others not being able to care for them anymore - time is something i have plenty of!!! So far we have taken in a cat and an adult corn snake. We may concentrate on rehoming reptiles more than more cats tho as they are easier to "contain"!!

the one thing we both are very lucky with is we have good wifes mate.its times like this that you get an even better understanding of the old saying " behind every good man is a good woman "
