New to ssnakess!

Hi every one!

I have read a lot about housing BP's together, I know the answer to that, Mine all have a very comfortable cage!
My question is, I like to hold my smaller 2 guys together,

IS THAT A NO NO AS WELL?
I quarantined all animals apart in separate rooms for 2-3 months, I broke down after 2 months and took a picture of all 3... My big one and my pastel had a full 3-4month quarantine.

Also, a side question, as I read posts, is every one here Canadian aswell?

Heres a snap of my 3 BP's
1 normal Female - 8 years
1 normal male - 5-6months
1 Pasel Male - 7-8 months

Welcome, Im not canadian and housing them together at any size is a nono

Is holding 2 at the same time the same case?

oops sorry misunderstood your first post. And I dont but I have mostly corn snakes so it usually takes 2 hands.

How big do corns get?

I have a couch with sown in cushions, the lil guys cant even get more then a nose anywhere. I have taken them out together and sat with both of them on the couch.
Then I read a bunch of new posts on a few forums, affirming my previous knowledge that I had about not housing them together, I read anyways, and I began to wonder about having them together on the couch

I most CERTAINLY have separate enclosures, with proper hides and temps...

Corns get average 3 1/2 to 4 ft. I would think if they spent alot of time together like that it would get stressfull.

One of the differences between corns & BPs is that corns move around more/faster. You can probably hold 2 BPs more easily than someone can hold 2 corns simply because the BPs will be fairly still or slow-moving in comparison to the corns.

However, I still wouldn't do it often because it is likely to be stressful to the BPs.

I'm not Canadian either.

The pastel BP (pastel, not pasel, right?) is gorgeous! Actually, they are all beautiful snakes, but the color on the pastel is amazing. I'm seeing blue and silver--are those the true colors? If so, WOW.

chu i think it's just the flash coupled with a camera that isn't taking a high resolution shot with some weird lighting that is making you see those colors.

The picture is really just amazing.
It highlights all their colors very nicely...

This is a picture of my pastel the week I got him

This is another picture I took the same day as the first one.
I wanted a good comparison between all 3. This is a better representation of live view, the other is a bit exaggerated.
I would love to see a good picture of an adult pastel.

Nice pastel. I've seen plently of breeder's photograph several BPs together but as Chu said, I wouldn't do it that often.

Aii gotcha, they will just have to take their turns being out, I only had my big girl with them for a few minutes to get the pics,
And thought it was pretty cool to see the 2 small guys hang around, so I have done it several times since.
Fun while it lasted, I think their alright, both took their meals on schedule

I'm not much a fan of blue, but that snake is really lovely.

Oh, boo-hoo. I'm seeing an artifact of the photography. Too bad. If someone could get those colors in a morph, it would be amazing!

Of course, your pastel is nice too, don't mean to diss it. I was just carried away by the blue & silver look!

No worries, I posted the second set, because I had no intention to deceive, the blue is discussed in another thread in the forum, about 'blue'ness after a shed... Just an awsome picture day, its why I took the risk of cutting quarentine by a month...
