Whites tree frog?

I am using cocosubstrate with my whites tree frog, should i keep it moist all the time? I mist him daily but his heat light dries everything out pretty quickly as the tank is wider than it is high. He has a water dish i keep full and clean that he likes to bathe in.

Re: Whites tree frog?

I suspect that you have a screen lid.

Wrap 80% in seran wrap (don't set it on fire with the lamp).

Get a hygrometer, preferrably one of those digital ones. The Fluker's combo digitals are ok, but I have 5 and they all read something different in the same place, one is up to 5 degrees off.

Get an objective point of how much humidity is in there, just because the substrate looks dry doesn't mean too much.

Re: Whites tree frog?

Thanks, I've been told it should be about 60%, is that accurate?
