Help heating custom retail enclosure.

I'm building 4 foot enclosures for a retail store that I am opening. I am debating between a few different heating methods. I was originally doing heat tape which I was going to secure under .25" acrylic drilled to the bottom of the cage. Cage is built of melamine, 18" deep, and has custom acrylic dividers .

However, I just got a killer offer on heated tile. It is fully waterproofed and controlled by a thermostat that is accurate within 1 degree. Anyone had any experience using heated tile or know any reasons why this may not work on a melamine enclosure? Thanks for the help.
