Re: Haitian Boas

well i just thought i would let anyone interested know that my haitians have mated alot not sure if the larger female(katie) has caught but shes in her pond alot dont know if thats a sign? i got a pair recently(well july) thhe male is seven years old an d the female is three years old(too young) and i alrady had a seven year old female anyway they mated virtually straight away and i gota tell you all its a gruesome affair the male looks like he is trying to constrict the female but obviously he isnt! Katie is a bout seven feet long and quite a hefty girl, Ben is about the same as her hes a friendly guy but katie is abit of a nightmare!! I'll keep eveyone posted as to what is happening thanks for reading! Off to The Terraristikka show in germany hopefully to pick up some jamaican boas!!!

Re: Haitian Boas

Hi there - I used to keep a few Epicrates (E. s. fosteri, E. gracilis, E. fordi and E. chrysogaster). What species are you working with?

Drop me an email and we can talk some more.
Regards, Ryan

Re: Haitian Boas

Hi Treeboa34,

I hope you will get plenty of striatus babies from the breeding.

I keep Epicrates striatus strigilatus and Epicrates striatus fowleri, but both pairs/groups are still too young to breed. I will try to put pictures up over the next few days.

I would love to see pics of your Jamaican boas. Do you know the breeder of these?

Gerald

Re: Haitian Boas

Ryan,

The gracilis looks very nice. In fact, I would love to get my hands on a group of these, but they are very hard to find in Europe.

Do you keep any Epicrates at the moment?
