Hi, Im Sophie

I love reptiles.
I had an Aguana for many yrs. She passed and it about killed me.
Looking for another reptile, thought about Gecko but do not want to deal with the crickets.
My Iguana was real personable, so now I am thinking of a Tortoise.
They eat veggies and fruit. Researching now.
Any ideas on what is the easiest and best SMALL Tortoise to get for a pet?
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

There as some smaller species out there depending on what you price range is, personally I would be looking at a Russian or Herman's either would fit what you are looking for.

I think a Hermanns tortoise would be a great bet. Also, if you are interested in lizards at all that don't eat bugs, I have a blue tongued skink who is super easy to feed. They are omnivores but do not have to have live food. And they are great, laid back lizards.
