Thinking about getting a monitor

I was thinking about getting a monitor lizard that doesnt cost way too much money, but is cool pet

What do you reccomend?


How big does the enclosre need to be when full grown??

get an ackie, there cage should be about 4x2x2,

Black head monitor's are very neat to watch very fast small monitor & not a everyday see full grown a 65 gallon tank with palywood lid drilled holes & a heat light for a hot basking area.

Read up on them type in blackhead monitors under yahoo search.

well...i hate to say it but monitors are never cheap, they need large enclosures and need varied diets. but i reccommend akies or savannahs.
