i have a 33 gal tank its 3' L x 1' W x 18" H. I was currently thinking maybe a pair of beardies, or is that too big for that size of tank. please give suggestion for a lizard for this tank
A 33 GALLON AQUARIUM IS TOO SMALL FOR 1 BEARDIE LET ALONE A PAIR OF BEARDIES!
I HAVE 3 BEARDIES AND EACH OF THEM ARE IN A 48x18x20 AQUARIUM....
IF YOU WANT A REPTILE THAT YOU CAN HOUSE IN A 33 GALLON AND STILL HAVE A PAIR OR EVEN A TRIO IN THERE , GO FOR CRESTED GECKOS. DO A LIVE PLANTED AQUARIUM AND THEY WILL THRIVE IN THERE AND BREED AND EVERYTHING..
Crested would probably be ok, but more ok if you stood that tank on it's end, as they prefer more height than anything. I would also suggest a leopard gecko, or fat tail possibly. There are a ton of things that you could put in that tank, it's really up to you as to which to like the most, and can care for the best!
