Snake doesn't poop

Hi all. I am new here. I just bought a 1.5 year old Col. Red tail. I have owned a 6 ft red tail in the past. Anyways this new one has eaten twice and hasn't pooped. I bought it, left it in its tank for a week then fed it then fed it the following week on the same day. What could be causing this? Thanks.

i have quite a few colombian boas, and they are all different. They will poop when they need to. I have had a couple of mine go a month without pooping, so it is not a big deal.

It is also going to depend on how big of a meal you are feeding them, and also how often.

Just keep feeding every 7-10 days and your snake will poop when it feels the need to.

Country:
if you want,
you could soak it warm water

that seems to help most snakes when they can't poop

2 weeks is NOTHING. I have 18 Boas (not including the Hogs - same species) and they routinely take a month sometimes.

They aren't like us. They don't poop every day. Don't stress.

i've got a nasty viper boa who loves to take long periods of time before doing her business. i think she does it on purpose. she is the nastiest most aggressive snake i've seen or owned, so of course i get worried when she goes 4 or 5 weeks without and then i attempt to soak her and get tagged like 5 times and then she's happy to let go of her inner .....stuff. i think she just needs to bite me and then she can go.

Make sure you are feeding prey with lots of hair. Hair is actually a major part of snake feces. If you are using immature rats, try adult mice. Also, soak him one a day in warm water for about 20 minutes. That would make him regular.
