leu black rat & leu TX rat differences
hey guys can someone tell me how i can tell between a leucistic black ratsnake and a leucistic texas ratsnake. because im going to be trading some stuff in for a leucistic black rat but i dont want to be screwed and get a texas, i know the eyes are blueish on a texas but just wondering if there were more and if the blueish eyes are a dead giveaway or will i really have to look hard ? thanks Justin

I've had a leucistic Texas ratsnake for about 3 years, I didn't even know there were leucistic black ones. I know with the Texas ones there's a high chance of having the 'bug eyes' where they bulge out and sometimes turn a bit down. Mine has a little pink patch on the top of his head, as if the skale is thin and you can see the pinkness of his brain, and one scale just above his tale that is orange. Don't know if that helps but he's an awesome snake either way.
