Which Freak's Music Do You Prefer?
Despite his .. lets call them .. legal problems, from strictly a preforming and musical stand-point, Michael Jackson is in my opinion a far superior talent than Prince.
I'm curious to see what yall have to input

Sorry, I'm going against the grain and saying Prince here. I still listen to a lot of his music. I'd rather listen to a cat in heat than listen to MJ.

I like Prince's music better, but I think MJ's music was much more influential and important to the evolution of pop music.

Hits wise, there's no contest. MJ all the way! But when you look at pure talent, Prince kicks MJ's white a$$! Prince is one of the more talented people in the business. That's not to say I am a huge fan of his music though. But that guy can write, play (multiple instruments and each one very well), sing, produce... you name it!

MJ was the man when he was younger. when he made the albums "off the wall" and "thriller", he was simply amazing. he could dance like it was nobody's business! this isn't very PC to say, and i don't mean to offend anyone - but the truth is that the lighter his skin got, the worse his music and antics got. but he is still twenty times better than prince. how many little kids during the early eighties used to dance around saying, "i'm prince!!!" not me!! jeez, if you said that then you know you probably got a stack of lego or a tonka truck cracked across your head.

Big Prince fan here... have been since "Dirty Mind". It's nice to see (after contract disputes and name confusion are done with) that he's back on top winning a Grammy last night for Musicology.
While appreciating MJ's accomplishments and huge musical talent, I've lost a lot of respect for him over the years.

I don't see the comparison 'freak-wise' between MJ and Prince... IMO there is NO contest.

That one was GREAT!
I'll still always love MJ's music though, I received his Dangerous box set thingy for Christmas a long time ago and they were the first cassettes I ever owned
