My enclosures are fully done and i got my glass today and a couple of them are a tad bit too small height wise....
I'm using the plastic tracks...any ideas how i can get give the glass a lil more height so that they dont fall out....otherwise the enclosures are wicked!!!!

I would try and raise the bottom or lower the top track instead of try and add height to the glass... maybe put something between the track and the melamine to bring it down so that it fits...

Good point, luckily i used silicone so i can probably just peel it right off.. only problem is that i only need like a few mm's...well whatever i gotta do it...
Any ideas on how i can stop the plastic tracks from peeling?? i got them polished but i never got the good stuff done to them...can i just use some sand paper???

now, your confusing me grant... you have to be more specific... i dont know what you mean by peeling?!?!?!? and if you used silicone they will come off with no problem at all... or i was thinking about this at work today for you, and i was thinking if you cut a few strips of as thin plexi glass as you need and cut them so they just go inside the bottom groove of the tracks that can raise it up some aswell... know what i mean?!?

lol..sorry about the crappy confusing post...what i meant was that the glass is polished but i didn't go all out and get the $1.00 an inch polish...so the corners are kinda sharp so when they slide..they peel away at the tracks....But i think i will be ok if i juast sand the corners or even put a little tape on the corners...
About raising it....i think ima rip the whole bottom track off...and put a strip of melamine a few millimeters thick under...
I was thinking about putting something in the bottom track to lift up the glass, but that probably wont work....

You can simply polish the edges of the glass with some fairly fine sand paper. Just run the sand paper back and forth from edge to edge until you're happy with the polish. If you don't, the glass will slowly wear away at the plastic tracks.

I would suggest just replacing the bottom piece of wood that the track sits on with a slightly taller piece to make the glass sit in the track properly. Otherwise you'll find that making that few millimetres worth count will be harder than you think!
