Sick Panther?

Hey,
I have a beautiful adult male Red Bar Ambanja Panther Chameleon and the past week or so he has slowed down a lot. He seems to have lost energy and I have found him at the very base his trees the last few days with his eyes closed. H lives in a 65 gallon Reptarium with 3 sides covered in plastic. I mist him a couple of times a day. I put a dripper in place each morning. He has 2 - 4' full spectrum UV bulbs and a heat lamp. He gets a bunch of crickets every other day that are dusted on a rotating schedule. I have kept him in this setup for well over a year without problems so I'm a bit worried about him. Any suggestions?

Mine did that in August for a couple weeks, then went back to him usual self.

But he is a veiled.

Hmm yours sound sick. Take it to the vet is my suggestion. Does he actually eat the crickets? And do you feed him any other kind of insect?

Defintely time for a vet, that's not normal behaviour. Just wondering if there's a reason for the plastic covering on 3 sides? Could it be part of the problem by reducing air circulation.

He has been eating the crickets, or at least when he gets up the energy to move around a bit to grab them.
I have tried mealworms etc. He actually seemed to start acting like this after I offered kingworms to him. He ate a few then didn't touch them again. Could those have made him sick?

Try and find out what they were feed with. They could have gutted them with moldy food

is the 65 gallon four feet across?
the four foot light seem kinda big for a 65 to me, how are they set up?
Not that theres anything wrong, im just wondering.

The 65 gallon reptarium is setup vertically which allows just enough height to accomodate his ficus trees as well as enough width to keep the trees close enough that he can move from one to the other. It's not the same dimensions as a 65 gallon aquarium because it is a reptarium (I think they have a different company name now but is basically a black nylon type material on a black plastic frame)
