a shed question

my snake shed last nite ,i had wanted to catch it before it dried but i fell asleep,
my question is now that it dried can i mist it to soften it up so im able to hang on the wall flat without tearing it?

You should be able to pull it apart and straighten it without damping it if you are careful but I cant see that damping it will hurt any if you want to give it a go.

What I do if I missed a shed and want to keep it is spray it lightly with a spray bottle. It will make it less fragile but you still need to be very carefull as you open the skin up as you want.
