You asked the question at 5 a.m.! Take it easy. To answer your question, those temps sound perfect. Patience is a virtue.

LOL, he wants an answer NOWWWWWWWWWWW!
Settle down Mr. 5am. 90-95F warm end, 78-80F cool end. That's it. I don't see it as a problem.
Also, remember that temperatures are only like 1/4 of Ball Python keeping. There's many other factors that go into a BP cage.

For instance, you need two places your ball can hide. One at the warm end and the other in the cool end. So your snake can decide what temp he wants to be. As far as the type of cage to use: aquariums are hard to regulate heat in and keep humidity constant in. I used to keep my balls in aquariums until I listened to the great advice on the sit and switched to rubbermaids. They have thrived ever since.

It may be 5am Mountain Time, but not everybody here who posts is from the same time zone.

Heheh
Yeah those temps seem to be fine, I personally do not keep my royals with a basking spot of over 90F.... but hey whatever works for you
Try and be more patient with your royals then you are with this forum (Most of us are lazy, beer drinking Canadains ). If they decide to refuse food don't slap them in the head and say "eat now you stupid snake"
:P
