I have a screen cage for some of my cresteds, I've had no problems they are both in great health. Mist the cage frequently and use live plants to keep the humidity up. Humidity is the only concern with screen cages.

thanks alot
yea i thought was gunna be a problem ill throw some live pothos in the bottom and lots of fakes
i have a double dripper system im gunna use as well
It is good to mist three maybe even four times a day, depending on humidity levels in the room. Just make sure to let the cage dry out a bit inbetween mistings. Build up of standing water can lead to problemes with molds and fungi. Which lead to respitory desease.
good luck

I use use pothos in my screen tank, and snake plants. They like to take cover under the potho leaves during the day it's nice and humid. ESU reptiles has some nice screen tanks. I've also seen new ones on the scales site with a pvc back and acrylic sides. Those look cool but probably expensive.
