I use either alpha chips or paper towl. I dont like newspaper just because the ink gets onto the belly of the snake.

I gotta look into the nonprinted ones though..thanks mykee

Yeah thats strange after all this tiem i`ve never had problem with that carpet - gives me something to think about - thanx for the fabric idea lindz - I design and sew clothing so I could always use scraps and wash those

It all depends what herp it's for and age.

All babies and juvies get paper towel no matter what.

Adults- beardies get wheat bran, corns get bed a beast, leos get rocks and bed a beast and my T has a little sand mixed with bed a beast.

I've done alot of trial and error and this has worked out the best for me.
