Illinois Trip

Hey,

I herped a variety of areas throughout Illinois over the weekend from North-west Chicago to some of the southern most counties.

Here's just a quick list of interesting species

Gray/Black Rat intergrade
Mid-west Worm snake
W. Mud Snake
E. Hognose
Black Kingsnake
Mississippi Green Water snake
Copperbelly Water snake
W. Fox snake
Chicago Garter snake

Tiger Salamander
Marbled Salamander
Mole Salamander

Bird Voiced Tree Frog

Sounds like a sweet trip! Man that's a pretty good size list of finds. That mud snake is amazing!

Great list. It's good to see so many herpers getting their fill before break time.

I am truly jealous of that mud snake too. I would love to be able to hold one.

Ya the Mud Snake was truly awesome. Sorry Hooter my memory card ran out way before we found the tiger Sal's.
