i know i know this is a very old thread but i have a question, i have a blood python and i am thinking about doing a cage like this for my snake when it grows. i am gonna do the human heat pad but my cage is gonna probably be 6 x 3 x 3, so would i need like 2 of the king size you think? and also what could i use to keep the humidity up, and last my house is usually very cold what should i use for heat other than the pad thanks so much in advance

also where can i find melamine.... at Home Depot ?? Lowes ??

Nice job, I have seen a enclouser similar to the one you have built but the person put flexwatt on the bottem of the cage but it was inside the cage then they put their aspin bedding over it. I thought that it might be unsafe to do this but what do you guys think?

im not even close to an expert but it would seem that it could be very very dangerous if the snake were to dig just a few inches under the aspen like my blood does and then there you go fried snake ... lol
