Nice pics Joe!
Which color phase's of Pardalis would be in the biggest demand in Canada? Also what other species of Cham would everyone want in Canada.

ya so baqck to my question does she have any more female nosy be's? Is she able to ship across canada? Whats the price like?
I have an empty side of a cage and it is really deppressing me.lol
Seriously.
Please, please help me.
There is a female panther for sale at a pet shop in winnipeg. But im not to sure what local it is. I talked to the chick working there and was quite amussed. First she said it was a rainbow panther. And I said well thats pretty strange never heard of that before, could it be a nosy be? And she said oh ya thats it, I have the scientific name if that would help. This made me kinda lauph inside. Then I explained that the scientific name could describe any local of panther chameleon. For some reason she did not want to beleave me and kept saying well I can find the scientific name if that would help. I gave up trying to explain the thrid time she said that. Thats not even all if it. Then she tried selling it to me saying it was a red phase nosy be. I tried explaining how pretty much all female panthers are either brownish, to brownish red, and my last female was even more pink then red. But oh no I am wrong she is a red phase she tried telling me. So I just politley thanked her for her help and left the store.
The funny thing is that a week or so before she had admitted to me she knew practicly nothing about chameleons.lol
SO I just let her have her fun, I'm not about to start an argument with some pet shop person.lol. ANyways thought you guys might find that funny, I did. She was being a real witch about it too, when I politly tried to correct her. lol. But anyways.
I need a female badly, around sub adult would be prefered. My boy is just raring to make some babies lol. You should see the buldge he has going now, my lord!
well thanks in advance guys

Ahahaha you sure told her! :\
If you're not sure what locale it is, don't buy it. I highly doubt you'd be able to find out from the people that work there. Otherwise, if you MUST have it take a pic and post it.
I wouldn't buy from a petstore, but that's up to you. Why not put forth the effort and find a breeder in your area? It could take time, it took me a while, to the point where I figured females were a myth...but it was worth it.

Hehehe you have been waiting long, but heather has a good point, if you want a local then its best to look hard, so that your certain that its a pure line of nosy be or whatever your male is

Wade - why does it seem that every story you tell is about making people look dumb and showing them up?

well dank, because people in this city are absolutly ********. If you lived here you would be making the same posts I am. Why do you think I wanted to get a ban on reptiles in some stores in the city, they have absolutly no idea on what they are doing.
lol Why are you even asking me that? Youve never had problemes in pet shops in your city? This is a pet shop we are talking about not a breeder. They work off commmision at this place and will say anything to try and sell a reptile. They dotn care who it goes to or if they know how to properly care for them, they just want their cut.
As for finding a breeder, Iv'e been trying to find reputable breeders for almost a year now. I know that no one breeds them anywhere near winnipeg. If they do they are very low key about it. If no one advertises the only way I can find one is to ask you guys about it. which is what I am doing. I could have bought that panther but didnt becasue of a couple of reasons.
1. Not confortable buying off someone who knows nothing about them. ( remeber me saying she even admited she didnt know anything about them the week before?)
2. The price: Im not about to pay over 300 for a chameleon when they cant even tell me what local it is. It was advertised as rainbow panther for crying out loud lol.
3. It was extremely younge and she only said it was a female after I said I needed a female. Again they dont care they just want commision. To males wont help my breeding project very much lol. Im talking maybe three inches in length.
Jason I would not make someone look dumb who knows what they are talking about. I have some friends in pet shops (2) who do know alot about reptiles. The rest again are just trying to make money by saying things they know you want to hear.lol

actual its no different from here and there, well i think anyways, All petstores just want money they really dont care what kind it is and in what condition as long as they get it cheap and sell it expensive. I was taking to a guy and the store buys hermit crbas for 10 cents each, nice big ones too, and they sell it for 6.99. They jsut want you money. I bet there are breeders in your area just need to look harder. You need to go to a reptile show or something

Thank you for proving my point Wade.
Jason
Wait. You want me to explain? You say you do what you do basically because you know more than they do where you live? Well ... does that mean because I know more than you, I should be doing the same thing? I should be saying you (or anyone I think I know more than) is dumb and such? I dont think so. So next time before posting some of these "abusive" comments, remember you (as am I with other people such as Brandy, Trace and Chris) are in the same position as the people who you are making the comments about.

Umm Im sorry Jason, but you must not have read my post right at no point did I say she was dumb. Just because she doesnt know anything about chameleons doesnt mean she doesnt know everything about everyother pet in the store. My point was right off the bat she had a really snooty attitude towards me, as soon as I had said: well thats pretty strange never heard of that before, could it be a nosy be? HOw more polite could I have been? At no point was I hostile, nor did I talk down to her as you had assumed.
This isnt really necessary, is it?
Wade
p.s And beleave you me I have looked high and low for a breeder around winnipeg. Mostly snakes leos and such. If anyone knows of any please tell me. Id love to have anouther breeder near by.
