Behavior in shed
Well my corn is going through he first shed (cool eyes and all) and hasnt went to the bathroom in a week and a half. If this possibly due to the fact she is sheding? Maybe is was that her last meal was pretty big (2 hoppers .. but one looked almost full size).

My ball python usually delivers me a shed and big arse crap along with it.
ps. You didnt have to get rid of the snake?

How long does it take to shed and should I wait until after the shed to feed?

The frequency of shedding depends on environmental temperature, frequency of feeding, amount fed at each feeding, and activity level, also the whole shedding period usually takes 1-2weeks. Most snakes wont eat when they are shedding so yea wait until after the shed

I believe that my snake is shedding, and seems to accept food, but regurgitates it, is that normal?

No, that is NOT normal.. What are your temps at? How big is your snake and what are you feeding the snake????

Well the warm side is at about 82 and the cool sides a little above 70... I'm thinking of lessening the amount of substrate around the shelter. But, the guy at the pet store said he was probably shedding.

If you just purchased the snake, you might want to just let him settle in before trying to feed him or hold him.
-What substrate are you using?
-How big is your snake?
-What are you feeding it?
If you give us more information we can offer better help

Well, i've had him for about 11 days, but hes been in his hide the entire time. I'm using aspen chips for a substrate, and ( under the direction of the pet store owner) I'm feeding only the head of the pinkie to my snake. I fed him lastnight, and still hasn't regurgitated yet.

Feed him the whole food item. I don't know how much this pet store guy knows about keeping snakes but if THAT'S the advice he's giving you, probably not much.
Get your warm side temperature up a bit. Shoot for around 85F-87F. Lower temps and stress are two factors that can lead to regurgitation. Let the guys settle in a bit and offer him a whole pinky in about a week or so.
