Radiant Heat Panels
I've been suggested the above item as a methond for heating my Emerald tree Boa Enclosures, currently im using a ceramic heat emitter on a rheostat to obtain the proper temps, and these Heat panels would deffinately make life easier for myself, now the first question is where do i mount these on an enclosure, on the inside or outside, and if on the inside, since my ETBs require alot of humidity and get misted daily, is this safe to be mounting them on the inside (water getting on the panel) and if someone could direct me to a few websites, or people that deal with heat panels for a "cheaper" price i would greatly appreciate it...$120 for a heat panel is a lil steep! but price doesnt really matter, just trying to find the right solution for the least amount of pennies

ok so they go in the inside...what about the humidity damaging them, and where can i find these Heat panels in canada? does anyone know what price range they are? i'm assuming the Helix ones for $120 are most likely the best, any others out there?

What helix ones? Greg Maxwell uses them exclusively in his Chondros so they must be safe for high humid environments.
I think PCPC carries them.

Yeah, they are fine for high humidity environments. The panels will discolour over time, which is totally normal. You can paint over it if you like. But yeah, I definitely recommend RHPs for arboreal snakes.
Seriously, the price may seem steep, but it does pay for itself in the long run. A RHP will last longer than a ceramic heat emitter, and uses less energy.
Port Credit Pets ( www.portcreditpets.com) carries some last I checked.
