When to freeze?

How long after a snake refuses a F/K rat should I stick it in the freezer for later? Thanks for any help, Don

Before it starts to smell like the back-end of a restaurant.

LMAO @ Mykee!! Dang it man, you have GOT to warn people before you just go off and say stuff like that! I just spewed beer (root beer, that is) all over my keyboard! LOL!!
(wanders off to get a cloth and attempt to clean up the mess... )
Take care

Personally, I don't really like the idea of refreezing... but other people do it and don't have a problem with it.
I wouldn't refreeze a rodent that has begun to smell. It's already started to decompose. It would also depend on the temperature as well... the warmer it is... the faster dead things start to decompose...
Take care

Annie, F/K (fresh killed) rodents were never frozen, they're "freshly killed". Also, clean up your keyboard, or is "spewed beer" your euphamism for leaving the computer with "sticky fingers"?....
Lastly, next time I'll try to give notice, but these gems just tend to pop out every once in a while with no warning whatsoever. I'm gifted like that I guess....

*** Sorry... I didn't see the "K" part... I just saw the "F" and thought "Frozen thawed." :P
