Dumeril not eating!

We just got our dumerils boa last saturday so could that be the reason why he's not eating? How long should we give him to settle in until we try again?

Thanks,
Jessica

Typically you should wait at least one week for any new herp to acclimate to it's new surroundings before even offering food. Just leave it alone and try again next week.
Good luck.

In addition to what Dave said, if he still isn't eating we need to know more detail about the situation before we can give any insight.

How old is the snake?
What kind of setup is he in? (including substrate, etc.)
What are his temps/humidity?
What have you tried?
Have you allowed him to settle in before trying?

Until he begins feeding for you he shouldn't be handled unless it is completely necessary. Good luck and congrats on the new snakie
