Look what I caught..
I just happened to be walking by my snake room, and decided to look in on my only female left to give me eggs,(as I do every 12 minutes) and I caught her mid-lay. I decided to snap some pics from underneath the rubbermaid. Picture this: I'm lying on the ground, with a rubbermaid pulled halfway out of the rack, female is under her newspaper, so I have a perfect view, without stressing her out. Sorry for the poor picture quality, but these pics were taken through a rubbermaid. This is what I caught:
This pic is of the proud Mom (who would love a chunk of me at this point) from above, after having laid 7 good eggs, and 1 slug. Notice the urates at the back on her enclosure? Ever try to stick your hand in with a gravid female?:
Thess pics are comparison size shots, first w/ a lightbulb, and second on the scale, sans slug. Eggs weigh in an average of 80g.
