tell me if he is skinny :( (PIC)

the little guy didnt eat for a month and a half.. he is 3 feet long

here is a pic of him with a 12 inchs ruler

im really worried ( I tried live gerbil today and he didn`t give a look at it )... I also noticed that the 2 main thermo sensor (red things on his mouth) arent as red as they used to be!!?!? Anyone living near Laval there ? I would like to bring it to someone who could tell me if he is ok!

Thx for everything

He does look little skinny but its very hard to tell. But if you can get him feeding regular again that can change very quickly, Is he w/c or c/b? I had a female that was around the same age and size go for around 6 months without food and scared the hell outta me but after she regained her feeding response the little bugger put on a ton of weight. If has only been a month and a half you should'nt worry too much, it could just be that time of the year for your little guy. Keep trying to feed, give him lots of places to hide and he should come around soon.. Good luck.

If you could make your way to Montreal, there is a great vet who specializes in reptiles, let me know and I will gladly pass on the information.

Your snake doesn't look too bad, but to be safe it would be a good idea to get a stool test done to be sure there aren't any internal parasites.

He looks fine to me. Mine is also 3 feet long and 2 pounds and he eats like a pig. Yours could go months without a worry (providing he is healthy otherwise) He looks active and curious (as much as you can tell that from a picture ) I would give the feeding a rest for a week or so and then try again .. he'll figure out he's hungry when he's ready.

yeah..he is very active and not shy at all (even if he have been sleeping for almost 1 week lol)

I have to check him when he is out..he doesn`t want to hide..just to get to the most difficult point : on the top of my head around it, or he just fall away from everything lol ;p..

anyways thx for the answers

he looks fine

mine BP fasted for 4 months and had parasites boy did she look bad! your little guy looks fine(a little small) when it gets to the point where every day you can see his spin and feel his ribs then I'd start to worry, but as long as he's nice and round his fine.
