heh..."Wang Chun"....should have seen my hair do and choice of clothing....now I know why I was bullied...damn that Miami Vice influence.
Seriously though, Wing Chun is a very practical self defense, another one of many forms of Gung-Fu. It was created by a woman and has a lot of great sense built into it. I certainly recommend it for those serious about self defense and all around good time. JKD (Bruce Lee's great idea!) has a lot of influence from Wing Chun...the centerline is based from it, as well as a lot of the methods.

I'm a large guy, I get made fun of because of that, but I snuff it up and walk away. There's always going to be someone tougher than you no matter who you are.I've been in fights but only because I have had to fight and I have gotten charged for it as well because I had to seriously harm the individuals so they wouldn't stab me in the face, the law didn't see that...I see it fully acceptible if someone is within an arm's length distance and they are continually prodding and poking at you physically i.e. pushing, or if you are in danger, but seriously, don't fight to try and prove something because all you will prove is that you are a hotheaded moron. Be the man and walk away, screw what people think and say, and stick your face in the books instead of throwing fists.
--By saying fighting is stupid I don't mean professional boxing or any of that sort...I solely mean people that fight to prove themselves to others.

In my school they will just go to some randomn kid and start pucnhing him for no reason a huge jock did that to me i smacked him right back i don care how big they are i will never be bullied no matter what. Like that school shooting at columbine i think it was they did that because of jocks bullying them. i agree act crazy it the only thing that works on stupid people pay a little deed to there house if you know what i mean.

Mr. Fly, xtgrovex, xxbad, Waterdragon we all know you are really tough and crazy....... but we just dont care. If you are going to keep posting under different names at least spell check what you are going to post. That way we will be able to understand your nonsense. Mr. Fly isn't bad for a name but I mean you start with xxbad then you are xtgrovex(note the x's you used again) and then water dragon after you had told everyone as xxbad you had a water dragon. You are one very uncreative kid. Instead of boxing lessons I think you should take an english class or maybe a creative writing course.

Could someone just please lock this thread. It's beyond useless.
About the only entertainment I've gotten from it is Mousekilla's posts. What exactly is the "Crouching Tiger" when it comes to housework?
