HI,
Ben siegel has a sulphur monitor for sale now - all of the water get about ~6 feet or so; the white-headed V. salvator marmoratus; the sulphurs are V. salvator salvator but sulphur colour; the golden water monitor = ?? Never heard of that one....
tell me more?

I did not know someone in USA had white-head marmoratus - there is quite abit known of these animals in Philippines, as they come from 1 island there....and there are article on just those for those interested....for further info on water monitors and color morphs, see www.cybersalvator.com webmaster = John Adragna - he knows ALOT of this species-complex....more than I will ever know to be sure...

cheers,
markb

these are some of the water monitor morfs iv seen and the golden head(salvator cumingi) is one of them. most of them are from my home land Philippines, too bad they're crazy expensive by the time they get here.
by the way do you have ben siegals web site or email address?

Whiteheads( Nuchalis) are the smallest of the subspecies. they only get to 4-5 feet in length. As for the golden heads(Cumingi) I do not think they get quite as large as the common waters.
Hope that helps
