good cham websites

Im thinking of getting a chameleon in the next couple months...maybe 4 or 5, anyways, i was just looking for a good, accurate website for panther chameleons. Which one of the chameleons is known to be more aggresive and which are known to be more calm, in most cases. Thanks guys

Umm Veilds tend to be pretty grumpy adults, panthers tend to be more tame... this dosent mean they cant be grumpy too though depends on there temperment. check out the links under my name

I've got 2 veileds and a panther, all 3 of which started out very tame and friendly, and turned into total jerks as adults. Especially the male veiled, he hisses and lunges at me as soon as I start to open his cage, and his bites break the skin! Once I get him out though, and give him a couple crickets he quiets down.

The only reason I ever take him out is to hand feed him though, I rarely handle any of them due to their temperment.

Do you think its like any animal that needs constant handling to calm down? I also dont mind an attitude, i have enough animals to handle my handling need

No amout of handeling will ever calm down my veilds lol, I think its really the luck of the draw. Babies/juvies tend to be i bit weird they can hate u or love u and then they hit adulthood lol watch out if its a veild your best little buddy turns on u quick, lol. Im general though veilds are the grumpyiest.

yeah, every veiled i've come in contact with has been really mean. even some babies. and ive heard that panthers are supposed to be very friendly, but i havent had any personal expierences with them.

however, i dont know if jackson's are known for being agressive or not(im pretty sure they arent), but i have one that is r eally, really nice, he climbs onto me and will just hang out and eat and then eventually jut go to sleep.

Panthers are more expencive buy far, a typical panthere will cost u around 200 can be less the younger u get it but dont go below 3 months babies can be worriesome. Veilds on the other hand well lets say some people like to breed them like crazy and well they can be very cheap unfortuantly, but your gonna want to get one from a breeder not a stor again look for soemthing older them 3 months i would say anywhere from $50 to $80 is good for a "well raised" veild. In my opinion anyway.

yeah, panthers are gonna be a lot more than a veiled, but in my opinion i think it would be worth it. they have beautiful colors, and from what ive read, great personalities.

If i get anything ill get a vieled then...I dont wanna spend to much money on the animal so i have more then enough for food, and the beginning costs..thanks for all the info!

150 for babys at the show, and adults 200, this is for panther, veiled chameleons range from 20-200, but i rarly see a adult veiled cost 200 dollars besides pet stores. My first chameleon was a panther it was calm and tame, But most panthers are a lot nicer then panthers, veiled will hiss etc. But in my opinion go for a panther but if you dont mind the hissing then get a veiled, it is a lot cheaper. Get a male
