Yeah I would get myself banned from a website because I don't like a movie people are talking about. LOL. Uh O.k. Makes sense.
Just pass by the thread man. We are talking about the movie, not our personal belief, all of us but you that is.

Here is something interesting about the movie, related to the subtitle thing and languages used....
http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/science....ap/index.html
They feel this will help revive or at least help people remember the Aramaic language. I think that's really cool. Old cultures/languages should nont be forgotten IMHO and I am glad he used it in the movie.

Saw the trailer for it last night. Looks very interesting. Not sure if I'll enjoy reading subtitles the whole time though.... but I won't pass it up for that reason.

Sorry kids, I'm seething with rage right now. Chill out...I think not. The only thing offending me more than the fact that the film was made is the fact that its found its way here. Unfortunately, Shane's right. I searched the TOS chapter and verse and couldn't find the specifics I was looking for. No apologies though, you all know that this is pure religious propoganda.

WTF??? Nobody gave any kind of religious opinion that should warrant your BS.
Pull the stick out of your A$$!!!!!

Therein lies the source of your "rage". Now, I don't want to see anyone banned so you might be well advised to direct your rage to the parties responsible for the production of the movie. Picking fights with people here is not your best route....

The whole movie is in subtitles, but don't let that deter you from seeing it. I hope you guys enjoy the movie.
To make this an OFFICIAL movie review I will give it 5/5 Stars

Trevor; no kidding about that whole lightening thing, maybe if a swarm of toads fell from the sky for 6 days and nights he would have gotten the idea.
Wuntu; PLEASE post your essay, I would love to read it.....

I didn't see the movie yet. I am sure it's quite good to see and will go next week. The movie wasn't out yet and there were already people complaining about it... You want to see something that will make you think twice, watch the movie The experiment. It is really good.
Instead yesturday we went and saw the 50 first dates. Lol turned out to be quite good. Liked it actually.

I know eh, that's what I was alluding to.... It doesn't get any more obvious than that, that maybe making the movie was a bad idea. I guess you have to believe in that sort of stuff though for it to have any sway...

Unless CNN has untouched video showing the strikes, I'd be disinclined to take it as anything more than clever PR.
In the last year there have been several instances of "reputable" press organizations printing urban legends, outright lies, and other things.
Examples:
Reporter Jason Blair's made-up articles.
The 49 footer in the other threads.
The "guy who hired the prostitute and his daughter came to the door" story published by the BBC last year despite the fact that the origin was an urban legend email that has been going around for years.
Note that I'm not disputing religion, just don't find CNN the most reliable source.

Yeah I wanna go see this movie too. I have a feeling that all these charges of anti-semitism are a load of rubbish. If people are anti-semetic they can use the Bible to "justify" their warped beliefs just as much as they can use this movie. But I don't believe the Bible is anti-semetic and I don't believe the makers of this movie are either. I think that some people these days are just too sensitive and too politically correct.
Looks like a good movie though so im gonna check it out.
