another snake den

i went to mount doug in Victoria and I found another garter snake den of north western garters. Foud about 50-70 all the same kind i was like in heaven i was almost screaming. This time was with my dad so i got about 20 minutes. I also got within a foot of 2 rabbits(rabbit run loose around loose in Victoria like you wouldn't believe.) Know that's two garter snake dens i know of in Victoria. :w :joker: :2yellow:

Cool, just one word of advice, i would blab about it to the community, i made the mistake of telling alot of my friends about a Northern watersnake colony i found, and guess whoo decided to go catch, keep and kill them all. just a word to the wise

this place you wouldn't find usually mt.doug is big and It's not obvious

You'll be surprised how many people will try looking for the den if they're in the area. Not all of them will be as nice as you too. But at least you weren't too specific this time.

Congrats on the find though! That's really neat. Should take photos next time!
