Any Breeders In Calgary?

Are there any Boa breeders here in Calgary? I'm lookin' to get a large snake... But I'm not sure where to get it, I just know I'd rather not go through a pet store. Also if anyone knows where to get frozen rats in Calgary, that'd be great.

The Sunridge Petland location has frozen rats. But, it's cheaper to import them. I'm going to be doing an order from Saskatchewan pretty soon, if you want to split the shipping costs, we can both save a bit of money there. PM me for details.

As for boa breeders, everyone I know in Calgary is pretty much sold out. Henry Piorun out in BC has some though. www.a1pythons.com.

A friend of mine Dan Uremovic lives in Calgary and will hopfully be expecting a great variety of neonate Boas in the upcoming season. I'm sure he will post any new additions to his collection.

Riverfront aquariums has frozen rats for a decent price. So does pisces pet store in the North. Petland should be your last resort for feeding supplies. At the last pet show, I purchased bunnies from a lady in Lethbridge that said she will ship overnight express. I got about nine rat size and bigger bunnies for about $8.00. Cant beat that! I will try to find their business card and post it for ya.

Pisces does not carry rats anymore. Petland's prices are far better than the other place you mentioned. At least $2 cheaper per rat.

That's too bad. I used to go to pisces all the time for my feeder rats. Since I have been buying in bulk from the reptile shows I have not been in there very often. Sorry to steer you wrong. I am still looking for that email for the bunny lady.
