Feeding habits? Save your pennies because a healthy young dragon will eat you out of house and home!
They can take as many as 50 crickets in a meal and should have 2-3 meals per day when they are still in their fast growing stage. The more variety the better and they should be introduced to a nice balanced salad of dark leafy greens with assorted veggies and a little bit of fruit as early as possible. Too much fruit isn't good for them, keep it to about 5% or less of total intake.
Beardies are usually fairly easy to tame as long as you remember not to swoop down from above when picking them up. That's what hawks and eagles do and so it's very scary to them.
Aggression between beardies can happen at basically any time. Males will definitely fight with other males, but even a mixed pair or two females can become territorial and aggressive. If you get more than 1 beardie and wish to cage them together, always have spare caging materials on hand in case you need to separate them quickly.
Growing beardies should have calcium supplements at least a couple of times a week and a multivitamin at least weekly. Avoid vitamins with vitamin A in them as overdose can be toxic, look for brands that have beta carotene instead. If your calcium supplement contains vitamin D3, don't give it more than twice a week and dust lightly as that can be overdosed too.
