Nice pic, on a side note it looks like the condtion of the roads has improved since I lived in saskatchewan, it's not uncommon to be thrown in the ditch from traveling too fast down a badly paved road.

Yup. Crotalus viridis viridis are aptly named for their greenish coloration.

Here's another shot which shows their greenish tinge.

Oh btw Lisa, I doubt the roads have much improved cos they still do throw you off to the ditch if you go too fast. Seems as if you've angered the Gods of Saskatchewan roads!

Nice looking snake.

the roads were bad when I got there and hadn't changed by the time I left. You had to be wary of oncoming trucks, as they had a habit of throwing chunks of the road at you!!!

When we went to visit family in Sask...we could actually tell when we'd left Alberta not because of any signs, but because the roads changed so dramatically!
