Talking Boa just fed

Unfortunately yesterday she turned down her first rat pup, in all reality it was too big for her, the store just didn't have anything smaller so I wasn't surprised. Today was another day, fed her a big hopper mouse she hammered it and constricted.

She still appears hungry, she is hunting around the cage were the first mouse was placed, should she get a second course ??????

Sounds hungry to me. I'd try offering her another item. You may want to consider moving her up to rats or at least adult mice. If one hopper isn't cutting it its time to move up, and the sooner you can get her on rats the better it will be for the both of you. BCI can actually start feeding on rats as soon as they are born.

I've seen very few BCI that can't take an adult mouse for their first meal. If you happen to have hoppers, absolutely give it 2... and see if it'll take 3.
