Hi had to share these with you guys. Alfie is now feeding beautifully. He shed and then took two large f/t Rats one after the other and as u can see the second one he even constricted!!
But definitely treating him for mites and upping his temps seems to have got his feeding response back now and he took both rats straight from me immediately. But think now maybe hand feeding him isn't such a good idea Anyway once again thanks for all the advice its been a great help!

and no i dont think hand feeding a boa that big is a very good idea. mine is 6 feet and there is no way in hell i would try that by hand. i use an extra long pair of tongs for her.
