Quick feeding question

I was just wondering out of curiosity if it's ok to feed leo's mealworms that are in the middle of turning into beatles. In the "alien' stage or the metapod thing. I'm not really thinking about doing it, but i was wondering if they are bad in any way?

My Girl PREFERS the larvae of the mealworms. It's entirely ok, and they don't need to wiggle for the geckos to be attracted to them. =)
