boxies

I am making an E boxie pin, how much space should I have per turtle? I will have 3-8 of them.

Some books I have read said I square foot per turtle. I have no faith in this so add another half a square ft. 15-16 sq ft? Why not just go 5ft x 4ft. They would be happy! 4ft x 4ft?

I had two box turtles in a pen of 4ft x 4ft. If you're only going to have 3 turtles, I would say 4 x 4 would be big enough, but if you're going to have closer to 8, I would make it bigger.

I read 3 square feet per turtle. So maybe up to 5 in a 4 x 4. Maybe go 4 x 5 or 4 x 6 if you're going to have more than 5.

3 sq ft per turtle makes more since! Just pic an area and make it as big as possible.
