Baby Boa Died today
A few of you have read and looked at pictures I posted of my newest addition. As you know she was having some problems from the time I got her. Thought I could bring it around o>. Well I guess there were other plans for her. She died today.:w I was soaking her after her dose of Baytril. I left her for a minute when I came back she was dead. I just don't understand what went wrong? Well I just thought that I would let you all know. Thanks for the support in advance. Jamie/Blueeheeler

So sorry Blueheeler. I'm sure you did the best you could for her, but sometimes nature wins. Like Zoe said though, I'm sure the rest of your legless friends can cheer you up.

Thank you all for your kind words. I have spent most of the evening with all of my snakes. As it was feeding day for my culbrids. So I got to hold them all. It did make me feel better knowing that they are healthy and growing like weeds. But, I couldn't help but think of my baby boa and how much she will be missed. The only thing that gets me through is the fact that I know she is no longer suffering.
Rest in Peace my sweet ANGEL!:w

sorry on your recent loss blueeheeler, its good all the others are doing well though. upper resperatory gets the best of us.
were you using oral batril or intramuscular?
i dont know how much knowledge you have on the infection,
but just for future reference with my experience i find that the oral baytril works way better. i also use pedialite to liquify the pill with a drop of vitamins instead of water. i cant recall the name right now its called repti-vitamin or something like that. i hope you dont need this for future reference
and wish you good luck on all your snakes health.
