Update

Hi all,
Well, the little White's are still surviving. The smallest one still turns to the left to get around and I don't think it will ever be able to climb again, but the problem does not seem to be worse (please see my post about White's with puffy eyes for background information). Both frogs still have 1 eye that is larger than the other, but it is not affecting their appetites. I help the smallest one by offering the food on the left side repeatedly until it has eaten its fill. My goodness do these little guys eat!!! They poop a lot too. I guess that's a good thing--shows that all symptoms are working.

Does anyone have any idea as to when we can assume that they are "out of the woods" so to speak with regards to the illness they have had--whatever it was/is?

I had thought that they would both turn out to be females as they have had to fight so hard to survive, but the bigger of the two definitely croaks. He is so cute when he is trying to be big and is croaking away. The croaking entertains our youngest daughter. She stands by the tank and points at him while she laughs.

Thankfully the name he has, "Skip,” continues to work even though we were wrong about his sex. It’s a god thing we did not call him "Julie" as our oldest daughter wanted to.

Take care,
Tara Garratt

As for the disease goin' away, I cant give any estimate. Has the frog fallen from a large distance. When frogs fall, sometimes, they tend to balance after the fall and be disoriented and jump in cricles. I'm really not to sure and I'm not sure on how to help you... but thank for the update, I'm happy to hear the news Pets like that are greatfully lucky to have an owner that takes the time and love for the well bein' of the animal Great job
