What kind of snake is this? Attached

IMG_1257.jpg

It was found dead last night and flung into this grass area outside Knoxville, Tn. It kind of looks like a copperhead pattern.

That was a harmless cornsnake.

The head shape, body shape, colors, and pattern don't resemble a copperhead at all.

Thanks. I don't kill snakes, it was dead on the road. I relocate them alive if necessary. I thought the head made it look harmless.
