Unhappy Dropped my snake

So today I dropped my snake on accident off my bed and I have been upset ever since! I have carpet and it was probably a 2-3 foot drop! I don’t know what to do or if she’s okay, when I picked her up she didn’t hiss or seem hurt so should I be concerned? She’s only 4 months old

Re: Dropped my snake

The snake is probably fine. They take little tumbles like that all the time without issue.

You should gently examine your snake for signs of injury, an oddly shaped area of the body that might have a broken bone, bruising, swelling, that sort of thing. If you find a visible issue then a trip to a vet and an x-ray may be necessary.

If there isn't a visible sign then just keep an eye on the snake. If it continues to move, eat, defecate, etc normally then it should be ok.

Not slippery per se, but snakes nonetheless feel that way.
