Rudy’s Surgery

It’s been about one month since Rudy had surgery to address a cystic type pathology in her oviduct. It had produced a very noticeable bulge that had me and the vet worried about tumors, etc. Despite her age of 37-38 years, she continued to eat well and behave normally. After a needle biopsy, we decided to go ahead and do the procedure. She stayed at the facility for 2 weeks to allow for painkiller and antibiotic administration as well as to minimize stress of being moved around in chilly weather. Since coming back home she has eaten twice and appears to be doing well. Vet said it was fairly likely she would shed off the stitches in her next cycle.

Re: Rudy’s Surgery

That's great! I never realized your snake was that old.
