Another random Snake - What is it ?

This guy was hiding between two pieces of metal roofing.

What kind of snake is this? Poisonous ?

Corn Snake (Pantherophis guttatus). Nonvenomous and quite common in certain areas.

Just curious, what state? That one has some nice colors on it.

I'm not good at this, but it reminds me of a corn snake.


PS Just to be picky... I think you meant venomous, not poisonous. I've a sister who gets a bit bent out of shape when folks make that mistake. Also, don't call them Canadian geese. "Oh, gawd. They're Canada geese!"

I'm just worry about the snake bitting our dogs.

Oh yeah, they are quite common out there. They can have a big attitude when provoked, but you and your dogs have nothing to worry about.
