Bigtime difference! Reptisun gives far more UVB. Don't let the 8.0 vs. 5.0 fool you. Those are kind of useless measurements. What it means is 8% of all of the wavelengths of light the Exo Terra produces falls in the UVB part of the "rainbow" vs. 5% of Reptisun's output. It has nothing to do with how much UVB is put out. Folks at some of the bigger reptile rescues have UVB radiometers to measure the actual output of their lights and consistently give Reptisun better ratings than any other fluorescent tube on the market.
This page doesn't rate Exo Terra bulbs but will give you some idea of how UV output is really measured. I hope you find it helpful.
