While I like the pituophis my husband likes the corn and king snakes the best and especially the lavender stripe female so we have been debating another for awhile. I went looking for something to reserve for next year and found someone had clutches locally this past year. He emailed to see if any were left and we ended our holiday driving trips with this guy. I don't know if I'll actually ever breed anything at this point but with about a 3 year wait unless I buy and ship adults in the future I figured we might as well make it possible when getting more of species we like and do well with for whatever we decide. He was almost a hold back for his personality and it's a nice change from picking up the ones people were selling because they didn't know how to handle them but he still said he was leaving when I made him sit still in a bowl. My phone is not very fancy and my camera lens malfunctioned so pics of moving animals under various lighting conditions are hard to adjust for.
